A recent effort in comparing pricing among funeral homes in Hamilton and Fairfield revealed that the least expensive full service with an inexpensive 20 gauge
steel casket averaged from $100 to $300 difference between most funeral homes.
While some consumers want the least expensive option available, most consumers want a fair price. Only by comparing can the consumer know the true cost and
value.
A better comparison is to weigh the value of what you recieve, such as: the difference in facilities, the dedication of the personnel and the value of
the merchandise received. Here at Weigel Funeral Home we believe we deliver the highest value of the above for the same or in many cases, lesser cost
than our competitors.
We believe our facilites provide the finest comfort for our client families. Spacious, clean and bright rooms are the standard at Weigel Funneral Home. No steps
or ramps, fully handicapped accessible with more than ample parking on site is one reason people choose our funeral home.
We believe our funeral directors and embalmers provide the highest level of care for your loved one and family. We subscribe to the code of service that conveys this standard:
"We provide the same level of service for you as we would demand for our own family. Total dedication to your needs and desires is our standard". We truly believe that the true measure
of service is not what you spend but what you receive...and we work hard to give you that extra care and service in all situations.
We have caskets available for $495 and up. Our 20 gauge steel caskets start at $695. Our most expensive caskets are hundreds less (in some cases thousands less) than our competitors.
We provide the ability to arrange funerals on your schedule. We suggest you take the time to provide us with your wishes and tailor the services and merchandise to your taste and costs.
We accept all services paid in advance at other funeral homes which have been prefunded.
Virtually all pre-paid contracts have the ability to be serviced by other than the originating funeral home. This is important in situations where ownership has changed. Over the past few
years the following funeral homes have changed ownership: Webb-Noonan-Kidd Funeral Home, Kowalk-Rose Hill Chapel-Ivy Funeral Home, Brown-Dawson-Flick Funeral Home, all in Hamilton, Baker-Stevens
Funeral Home in Middletown and Smith Ogle-Young Funeral Home in Oxford. More important is the fact some of these firms are owned by out of town owners with little commitment to Butler County.
In each of the above cases procedures and costs have changed. The originator of these contracts may have retired or moved on to other activities. The contract you have with these homes can
easily be changed to Weigel Funeral Home to assure your original plans. Call us at 513-892-1524 to discuss a change if you question new ownership or changes in past policies.
As mentioned before, our commitment is to your family - we go above the norm to provide exceptional service to you in each and every situation. Weigel Funeral Home - A family business
since 1926. Founded by Robert L. Klaus, grandfather of current owner, Robert L. Weigel. We are now in our 4th generation with the licensing of Robert W.(Rob) Weigel.
