Laverne, Bradley, age 83, a resident of Westover Retirement Community died Monday, February 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with Bulbar Palsy. She was born in Hamilton on August 27, 1929, the daughter of Horace and Martha (McCollum) West. She was a graduate of Monroe High School. She married Robert M. Bradley on October 8, 1949 in Hamilton and he preceded her in death on March 27, 2009. She had been employed as a secretary for Champion Papers retiring in 1994. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Gina (Gary) Yee, Sarasota, Florida and Robin Bradley, Hamilton; sister, LeDale (Jay) Hartleb, Hamilton; five grandchildren, Lauren (Drew) Johnson, Kevin Yee, Natalie Yee, Angie Garrett and Seth Carberry and two great granddaughters, Codi Bales and Eleanor Johnson. Funeral services will be held Friday, February 8, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Galen Hoffman, Vitas Chaplain officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Entombment will be in Greenwood Mausoleum. Memorials may be directed to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 11500 N.
