Betty Jean Hamilton (Betty Bopper), 83, of Darrtown, Ohio, passed away on Feb.21, 2013, at Hospice of Hamilton The Visitation will be held at Weigel Funeral Home Hamilton Ohio at 1 p.m. on Monday Feb. 25, 2013 Funeral services will follow at 2pm at the funeral home and  burial will be at Darrtown Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Weigel Funeral Home.  Betty was born in Middletown Ohio on  6-14-1929. She graduated from Middletown High School Betty worked as a waitress for The Anchor Restaurant for  20 yrs. She enjoyed watching westerns and anything about history and spending time being outdoors and talking about birds and flowers and all the stuff she used to do growing up.  She was also actively involved in The Eagles. Betty is survived by a son Tom (Reva) Owens of Middletown a daughter Sandy (Dave) Taylor of Monroe 1 sister Adalean Klein Richmond Indiana  Several grandchildren and Great grandchildren nieces and nephews and other family and friends.  Betty is preceded in death by her husband Earl Hamilton Her grandparents and her parents sister and brothers and 1 grandson Thomas J. Owens (TJ) In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to the funeral home.
