Ruby Vail Age 88, of Hamilton, died Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the home of her daughter. She was born February 8, 1922 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, the daughter of Arch and Edna (Bowles) Bell. She married Russell Vail on March 22, 1946 in Ludlow, Kentucky and he preceded her in death on June 19, 1993. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church and liked to garden and quilt. She is survived by her daughter, Edna Marie Lakes and husband, Larry of Hamilton; three brothers, Clyde Bell of Lakeland, Florida, John Bell of Oxford and Clarence Edward Bell of Lansing, Michigan; three sisters, Anna Lee Adams of Jackson, Michigan, Dessie Bowling, husband, Randoth of West Chester and Dorothy Bell of Hamilton and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three brothers and three sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. with Pastor Harold Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Millville Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening, March 16 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
