Dr. Mikola Dorochowicz, "Dr. Mike", age 88 of Hamilton, passed away in Ft. Hamilton Hospital on July 13, 2010.  He was born in Belarus, a county in Eastern Europe on February 22, 1922.  He came to the United States and married Mary Omuls in the summer of 1951 and she preceded him in death in 1998.  He was an O.B.G.Y.N. with his office on Millville Avenue.  He was a member of St. Peter in Chains Church.  He enjoyed bee keeping and gardening on his West Elkton Road farm and flying.  He is survived by his step-children – Regina Haug of West Grove, PA and Peter Sivgals of Fountain Valley, CA.; two step-gandchildren, Jason and Andrew Sivgals and four great step-grandchildren.  Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, July 19, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter in Chains Church, Ridgelawn and Liberty Ave., Hamilton, OH with Fr. Ron Haft celebrating.  Entombment will follow at St. Stephens Mausoleum.  Visitation will be Sunday, July 18th from 3-5:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH.  Memorials may be directed to National Foundation for Cancer Research, 4600 East West Highway, Bethesda, MD 20814-3457.
