Linda S. Brock, age 63, of Hamilton passed away July 18 after an accidental fall from a pier in Emerald Isle, North Carolina. She was born December 29, 1946 in Hamilton, Ohio the daughter of Grover and Viola (Stewart) Wilson. She was mother to Nichola Kohlhepp, John Wesley Brock and step mother to Geoff and Greg Brock. She had seven grandchildren; Trevor Brock, Austin Brock, Taylor Brock, Chandler Brock, Grace Millikin, Katie Kohlhepp and Dylan Wiesman. She is survived by her husband, Curt Saylor, her brothers Ronald Wilson and James Wilson; her uncles, Cliff Apgar and Charles Schuler. She was preceded in death by her beloved brothers, Mike and Harold Wilson and other aunts and uncles. Linda ran Brock & Sons Construction for many years and retired thirteen years ago to spend time with family and her grandchildren. She was an avid competitive tennis player all of her life. Her greatest joy was to spend time with her grandchildren as she was on vacation with them in Emerald Isle when this accident occurred. She had just returned from a trip with her two youngest grandsons, Chandler and Dylan, to Mammoth Cave, KY. She said it was “a trip of a life time.” She is also survived by her cousin, best friend and traveling buddy, June Scholl; her close cousins, Phyllis Beamer, RuthAnne Richter and many other close friends and family. Linda was known for her dedicated work ethic and generous spirit, helping family and friends in need all of her life. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 9:30 a.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH with Pastor Barbara Dafler officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Burial Park. Visitation will be on Friday, July 23rd from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Linda S.
