Dorothy M. Dreisbach, age 87, of Hamilton died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Garden Manor Retirement Village Middletown. She was born December 9, 1922 in Worthington, Ohio the daughter of Otis and Gusta (Whittington) Harrison. She married Harry L. Dreisbach on September 28, 1942 in San Diego, California and he preceded her in death on August 25, 1991. She was employed as a Manager of the Credit Department by J.C. Penny Company for 21 years retiring in 1984. She was a member of Redeemer United Church of Christ on Hamilton-Middletown Road and a member of the Auxiliary at Ft. Hamilton Hospital where she was a volunteer for over 20 years She enjoyed reading, sewing and taking care of her grandchildren. She is survived by a daughter, Virginia McMillian and husband Russell of Hamilton: two sons, Robert Dreisbach and wife Penny of Forestville, Maryland and Douglas Dreisbach and wife Mary Jo of Reading, Pennsylvania; daughter-in-law Ruth Dreisbach of Hamilton; two brothers, Richard Harrison of Sarasota, Florida and Paul Harrison of Wylie, Texas; two sisters, Anna Vermillion of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Thelma Foltz of Reynoldsburg; seven grandchildren, Rebecca (Ken) Chasteen, Karen and Tim McMillian, Ted Dreisbach, Gary and Cindy Dreisbach and Erin and Emily Dreisbach; several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Harry, a son, David Dreisbach in 2008; two brothers, Otis Harrison, Jr. and George Harrison and a sister, Leota Thomas. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd., Hamilton with Pastor Kim Katterheinrich officiating. Burial will be in Collinsville Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 10 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
