Steven Alan Hart

Steven Alan Hart of Hamilton went home to be with his beloved dog "Duke" on Thursday, June 25, 2009. He was born November 23, 1947 in Hamilton, OH, the son of Howard & Marjorie Hart. Steve attended Taft High School graduating in the Class of '65. He earned his Marketing & Management degree from the University of Cincinnati before working more than four decades for the Don S. Cisle Company, retiring as Vice-President in 2005. The man knew asphalt. Steve cherished family time, especially over the past 5 years with the addition of six grandchildren to his family. He was an avid outdoorsman who spent just as much time indoors at BassPro Shop. He loved auto racing, but was particularly fond of grandchildren races in his driveway. Steve was an admittedly average golfer despite the best equipment available. No one was happier than our Pop hunting with "The Out-Laws" or out on the water in his "No Name" boat or fishing with "The Steve's". He was beloved by so, so, so many special supportive friends who are too plentiful to list here. Everybody loved him. He will be dearly missed by Sue (Anderson), his devoted wife of almost 30 years; daughter Lisa Hart Disbro (Matt) of Harrison; daughter Stephanie Jones King (Kris), of West Chester; son Brent Jones (Molly) of Lake Bluff, IL; 6 grandchildren to whom he walked on water (Nicole, Wesley, Brad, Caroline, Mack & Andy); one sister Barbara Davis of Ft Myers Beach, FL; niece Stephanie Castillo (David) of Buffalo, NY; niece Carrie Condon (Michael) of Prairie Village, KS; nephew Luke Davis (Janel) of Coupeville, WA; a dear uncle Harold Hart (Betty Lou); aunt Jean Gibson; aunt Mary Ellen Helwig; mother-in-law Doris Anderson. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Howard & Marge; brother-in-law Chuck Davis; uncle Webb Gibson; uncle Bill Helwig; nephew Jeffrey Chambers; and father-in-law Ken "Andy" Anderson. Friends and relatives are invited to the visitation held Monday from 4:00 – 6:30 pm at the Weigel Funeral Home, 980 NW Washington Blvd, Hamilton. A brief memorial service will be led by Pastor Dale French at the conclusion of the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Steve's name to either the Jeffrey M.
