Cecil C. Baker Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Age 85, of Hanover Township, passed away at Fort Hamilton Hospital on Thursday, November 24, 2016. He was born October 24, 1931 to Clifford and Bessie (Singleton) Baker. He served as a CPL in the Army during the Korean War. In May 1954, he married Martha House. Cecil was a master brick mason for 55 years constructing many buildings in Butler and Hamilton Co. and most proudly his family home. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting, gardening and time with his children and grandchildren that loved him dearly. He was also supportive of the family business, Martha Baker Realty. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Martha, children Roxane (Jim) Leitsch, Penny (the late Dan Staarmann) Brown, Kim (Rick) Yerigan. Grandchildren Jason, LeeAnn, Jimmy, Jessica, Rick, and Bobby. Great grandchildren Amber, TJ, Ryder, Westlee, Carson, Colton, Beatrice, Eleanor, August, Anna, Noah. One sister Effie Abney. He is preceded in death by his siblings Earl, Lane and Catherine. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 10:00am followed with services at 12 noon at Weigel Funeral home 980 N.W. Washington Blvd Hamilton, OH, followed by burial with military services at Millville cemetery.
