Christopher Lyle Rasch age, 36, of Cincinnati, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 at U.C. Medical Center, Cincinnati. He was born in Hamilton on October 22, 1985, the son of Tim and Nancy Rasch. He was a 2004 graduate of Fairfield High School and a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University, majoring in biochemistry. He was employed as the Church Administrator for Immanuel Lutheran Church. Chris enjoyed swimming competitively. He swam for the Fairfield YMCA Flippers, Fairfield City Piranhas, and Ohio Wesleyan University Battling Bishops. Chris battled hemophilia issues throughout his life, but managed to still smile a lot and see goodness and humor in everything around him. He was an avid sports fan, especially when it came to NFL football and the Bengals. Chris was a wonderful son and brother, gifted scholar, and faithful Christian. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyle and Anna Rasch and Hubert Thiemann. He is survived by his parents Tim and Nancy of Fairfield, a sister, Janet (Terry) Cowart, Lawrenceville, GA, grandparents Dawn and Bill Barrett, Cincinnati and many cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends. Funeral services will be Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1285 Main Street, Hamilton, Ohio 45013 with Pastor Kevin Jud officiating. Burial will be in Arlington Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 2:30 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, Ohio 45013.
