Donald Eugene Hahn died peacefully on February 12th, 2022, at home surrounded by his family in Hamilton, Ohio at the age of 88. Don is survived by his four devoted children: Stephanie Tillman,(Darryl Tillman) Gary (Mirth) Hahn, David (Pam) Hahn, and Nicole Hahn. He also leaves nine grandchildren: Lauren (Brad) Post, Emily (Cameron) Kerr, Keven Tillman, Sam Hahn, Chris Hahn, Kaity Hahn, Danielle Frye, Talia Hahn and Tatyanna Hahn. Don also leaves six great grandchiildren: Jayden and Kayden Bryant, Zuri Strauss, Weston Hahn Fritzsche, Rocky Whicker III, and Phoenix Whicker. Don is preceded in death by his adoring wife of 63 years Carolyn Hahn, his parents, one brother, Bernard, and a sister, Theresa. Don was born in 1933 in New Miami, Ohio to Carl Hahn and Margaret Hahn. He graduated from Hamilton High School in 1951. Don was a loyal and loving father, husband, grandpa, and friend. He served as a staff sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and fought in the Korean War. Don retired from the City of Hamilton Fire Department in 1986. There will be a visitation from 10:00am-11:00am, followed by a service at 11:00am at Redeemer Church: 3431 Hamilton-Middletown Rd., Hamilton, Ohio 45011. The Rev. Nicole Thomas will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Donald’s life.
