Joan B. Larrison Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Joan B. Larrison age 89, of Eaton, OH died Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton, OH surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Preble County, Ohio on September 27, 1932, the daughter of Horace and Ruth (Brane) Bear. She was a graduate of Xavier University and founder of Wonderful World of Kids Daycare Center. Joan was a member of Grace United Lutheran Church, Eaton. She is survived by her children, Bruce (Teddie) Lee, Comstock Park Michigan, John Lee, Ross Township, and Tom (Betsy) Newton, Hamilton; brothers, Rex Bear, Lancaster, Ohio, Philip (Martha) Bear, West Carrollton, Ohio, and David Bear, Bath, Indiana; seven grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Sizemore, and her sister-in-law, Sabra Bear. Joan will be remembered for her love for the Lord, her wide collection of bears and her grandchildren, who seemed to make it into every conversation. Visitation will be Thursday March 10, from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N.W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH 45013. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11. 2022 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Schamel officiating. Burial will be in Twin Valley Cemetery, Preble County.
