June 1949 - September 20, 2019 Joseph B. Wilson of West Chester, Ohio, was the son of the late Beecher Wilson and Thelma (Pfeiffer) Wilson; soulmate of Karen L (Hacker) Wilson; brother of Judy Wilson; father of Jill A. Stamm, Melissa M. (Adam) Weber, and Carrie L. (Peter) Bolden. Joe was born in Cincinnati, attended Oak Hills High School and the University of Cincinnati for engineering. He was a co-founder and owner of Purestream, Inc. in Walton, KY for nearly 40 years. Joe married Karen, the love of his life, in the Spring of 1997. He dearly loved his family and always supported their efforts and dreams. Joe was passionate about IU basketball, playing golf, restoring his vintage Mercedes, and traveling to Jamaica. He spent his last years with his beloved Joey Beagle, whom he lost just weeks prior. Joe was preceded in death by his father, mother and father-in-laws, sister and brother in-laws, and niece Jessica. He is already greatly missed by his mother, wife, sister, 3 daughters, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and his Purestream family. Joe is also survived by his special best friends Carl Stoecklin, Steve Gray, and "Big" John. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 26th, 9:30 a.m. with mass following at 10:30 a.m., at St. John the Evangelist, 9080 Cincinnati-Dayton Rd., West Chester, Ohio 45069. Memorial Donations can be made to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens, Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden, 3400 Vine Street, Cincinnati, Ohio 45220, or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis TN, 38105.
