Potter McFadden Age 91, of Hamilton passed away on Monday June 20, 2016 at Golden Years Nursing Home. He was born in Lynch, Kentucky the son of the late Martin and Mary (Jones) McFadden on January 13, 1925. Potter was a veteran of World War II serving in the Army. On September 1, 1949 He married Violet Jean Napier in Harlan, Kentucky and she preceded him in death in June of 1998. He was a coal miner and was employed by Ford Motor Company. Potter is survived by his daughter Delilah Ann Cook and her husband Timothy of Hamilton, three grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Services will be held at Weigel Funeral Home 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. on Wednesday June 22, 2016 at 12 noon with Pastor Mark E. Wilson officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00am until time of service. Burial with graveside military services will be in Butler County Memorial Park.
