Jeanne Henninger Elliott

Jeanne Henninger ELLIOTT, Age 84 of Loveland, Ohio died Thursday, March 8, 2007 at Bethesda North Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. She was born March 7, 1923 the daughter of Robert Steele Henninger and Dorothy Baxter Henninger. She was a member of an old pioneer family, her great-great-grandparents having settled in Butler County in 1834. She attended Hamilton Public Schools, graduating from Hamilton High School in 1941. She attended The Dayton Art Institute and was a representative for Charles of the Ritz Cosmetics for many years. She later became the cosmetic buyer for ElderBeerman. She was married to Robert Elliott of Edinburgh, Scotland and Hamilton, Ohio on July 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1969. She was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church and of the Republican National Committee. She maintained an interest in historic preservation, was a great reader of history and a consummate letter writer. Her family, friends, political leaders and Presidents of the United States were the fortunate recipients of her letters. She had a wonderful sense of humor and always had a positive outlook on life. Mrs. Elliott loved her family above all else and leaves a devoted son, Robert Steele Elliott, Gahanna, OH; two beloved daughters, Karen Scott Errgang and her finace, Stephen Newman, Cincinnati, OH and Kristin Elliott Abram and her husband Allan, Loveland, OH; four grandchildren, Christopher Errgang and his wife, Lori, Rebecca Errgang Desch and her husband Philip, Olivia Kate Abram and Jackson Elliott Abram; five great-grandchildren; a loving sister, Maryann Henninger Lingler and devoted brother-in-law, Calvin L. Lingler of Hamilton, OH and a niece, Patricia Henninger Hoffman, Plymouth, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert and a brother, Robert Jackson Henninger. Funeral services will be held at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N.W. Washington Blvd., Hamilton, OH at 11:00AM on Monday, March 12, 2007 with Dr. John H. H. Lewis officiating. Visitation will be one hour preceding the services. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton, OH.
