Julie Reece

Julie Reece age 86 passed away Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born June 15, 1939 in Cincinnati to the late Martin and Frances (Deters) Schoenung. On September 26, 1959 at St. George Catholic Church in Clifton, Ohio she married Robert “Bob” Reece. Mimi’s faith was the cornerstone of her life. She trusted deeply in the Lord’s guidance, found comfort in prayer, and carried her beliefs with quiet strength and grace. Her love for her family was unwavering. She was their steady anchor, greatest encourager, and warmest embrace. She never forgot a birthday, an anniversary, or a special milestone, and she had a remarkable way of making each person feel uniquely seen and celebrated. Nothing brought her more joy than gathering her loved ones close and pouring into them the same kindness, patience, and devotion that defined her life. Julie is survived by her husband of 66 years Bob Reece; four children Michael Reece, Annette Humphries, Renea (Dan) Lohmann, Stephen (Jenny) Reece; grandchildren Allison (Sean) Rivers, Nicholas Kellard, Jessi (Blake) Lohmann, Emily (Freddie) Kendall, Lanie (Cody) Hunt, Tanner Reece, Stephanie (John) Wood, Catty Geyer, Davis Geyer, Katie (Noah) Hughes, Ashleigh (Josh) Condon, Lucy (Dustin) Suire, Rachel (Simeon) Storey; great grandchildren Owen and Adie Hunt, Revie Condon, Navy Humphries, Maylee and Amelia Hughes, Luna and Mila Lammers, Nick Kellard, Calvin Kendall, Paighton and Baron Rivers, Giavonni, Zahari, and Makiah Storey, Tylor, Sophia, Issac, and Sam Suire, and was also survived by many other family and friends. Julie was preceded in death by her parents; grandson Rob Humphries; granddaughter Maggie Reece; daughter in law Lisa Reece; three sisters Sister Frances Mary Schoenung, Sister Marguerite Schoenung, Sister Ruth Schoenung; eight brothers Stanley Schoenung, Martin Schoenung, Raymond Schoenung, Jack Schoenung, Hubert Schoenung, Tom Schoenung, Joe Schoenung, and her twin Jerome Schoenung. Visitation at Weigel Funeral Home 980 NW Washington Blvd Hamilton, Ohio 45013 Tuesday February 24, 2026 from 10:00am until the time of the funeral service at 11:30am.
